A Conversation with VoyageATL

Learning to hold that space for others has required me to learn how to show up more fully in my own work as well. The path continues to evolve, but each step has been part of learning how to trust the work and keep moving forward.
There are seasons where the work becomes quiet... I'm not absent, just shifting into something less visible, more internal.
A few weeks ago, VoyageATL published a feature about my path as a portrait photographer. I didn’t share it right away. I found myself sitting with it, letting it settle before placing it here. Being seen in this way feels different when you’re still inside the process. When the work is still forming. When the direction is becoming clearer, but not fully defined.
The article holds pieces of my past. The way I began. The way language, movement, and photography have shaped how I see people. It also reflects something more present, even if it doesn’t say it directly. A return to the work in a more honest way.
It doesn’t feel like a milestone. It feels like a moment of recognition along the way. Thank you Voyage ATL for the space you create for artists and for what’s still ahead.
